Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Kathy

Coral Aster With Love - Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a little inspiration with Heartfelt Creations!  This week I used an oldie, but goodie set for you from the Delicate Asters Collection!

The flower and leaves are from the Bold Delicate Asters Set. I stamped them with ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder...no coloring! You can also "stamp off" the color first on scrap paper to get a lighter color which looks really pretty and do a combination of both.

The lattice piece behind the oval frame is from the Raindrops on Roses Die. The tag is from the new Birds and Blooms Paper Collection cut out with the Luggage and Tag Die.

Be sure to visit the HC Blog to see the beautiful creations by the designers this week! There is also another sneak peek of the Butterfly Melody Collection being released next week!

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #169 - Anything Goes
All Sorts Challenge #296 - Flower Power
Craft Hoarders Anonymous January Challenge - Choose Your Challenge (Ink, Twine, Stamping/Die-cutting, Dry embossing, Pearl/bead finding)

Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Blessings!

Kathy

Cut white mat 3 7/8" x 5 1/8", die cut center with Classic Ovals Large and emboss with folder. On white card stock, stamp one of each flower size from the Bold Delicate Asters Set using Rhubarb Stalk Ink and heat emboss with Detail Clear Embossing Powder. Cut with matching Delicate Asters Die. Shape back of flowers with mat and tool kit, then press in center on the right side to push petals up. Glue flowers together off-setting petals. On white card stock stamp 3 stems using Peeled Paint Ink and heat emboss with Detail Clear Embossing Powder. Cut with matching die and pinch leaves with fingers to shape. Add stems and flower to card as pictured using Art Institute Glue. Add Coral See Prills to flower center using Art Institute Glue and once dry, add Diamond Stickles over and around outside of Prills.

Using the Luggage and Tags Die, cut the "With Love" tag from the Birds and Blooms Designer Paper. Ink edges with Peeled Paint Ink. Add to card as pictured using Double Dot and glue. Make multi-loop bow with green twine and Bow-Easy Tool and add as pictured with glue dots. Add adhesive pearl to center of spacer bead using Aleenes Paper Glaze and let dry.
